The Hardest Step Is the One You Are Taking Right Now
Beginning treatment takes courage. Seeking help is often one of the most important and most difficult decisions a person can make. If you are reading this page, part of that work is already done.
Our team recognizes the strength it takes to reach out, and we have built our admissions process to honor it. From your first call to your first session, everything is designed to be simple, confidential, and straightforward. You will never be pressured, rushed, or made to feel like a case number.
And because ANew Recovery is an Intensive Outpatient Program, getting started does not mean putting your life on hold. You keep living at home. You keep going to work. You keep being there for your family. Treatment fits into your schedule, with day and evening program options.
Four Steps From This Page to Your First Session
Step 1
Reach Out For A Free, Confidential Consultation
Call (866) 640-8480 or fill out our short contact form. An admissions navigator will listen to your story, answer your questions, and explain how our program works. There is no cost and no obligation. This conversation is completely confidential, whether you are calling for yourself or for someone you love.
Step 2
We Verify Your Insurance For You
Insurance is confusing. Let us handle it. With your permission, our team contacts your insurance provider directly, verifies your coverage, and explains your benefits in plain language. Most major plans are accepted, and verification usually takes less than an hour. Prefer to start online? Use our secure insurance verification form any time, day or night.
Step 3
Complete A Clinical Assessment
Before you begin, you will meet with a member of our clinical team for a comprehensive assessment. This is not an interrogation. It is a conversation, shaped by the treatment philosophy of our Clinical Director, Dr. Jayne Payne: healing begins when a person feels genuinely seen, not just assessed. We will talk about your history with substances, your physical and mental health, your responsibilities, and your goals. The assessment confirms that IOP is the right level of care for you and gives us everything we need to build your plan.
Step 4
Start Treatment On A Schedule Built Around Your Life
Based on your assessment, we create a personalized treatment plan and match you with a day or evening schedule that works with your job, your classes, or your family commitments. Most clients begin their first session within days of the first call. From day one, you are working with a team trained in Dr. Payne’s insight-driven, trauma informed approach to recovery.
What We Will Ask on Your First Call
Knowing what to expect makes the first call easier. Your admissions navigator will gently ask about:
- The substances involved and how long they have been part of your life
- Any previous treatment experiences
- Your current physical and mental health, including medications
- Your work, school, or family schedule
- Your insurance information, if you have it handy
You do not need to have answers ready for everything. You do not need to share anything you are not ready to share.
The purpose of this call is simple: to understand your situation well enough to help.
